Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cook/Kitchen Hand to join our team. This role involves supporting food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to food safety standards. Previous experience in restaurants, hotels, or cafes is highly valued.
Wage is negotiable and if you can speak or understand Korean, it would be better.
Duties
- Assist with food preparation and cooking to support kitchen operations
- Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are strictly followed
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and sanitizing equipment
- Support serving staff with meal delivery and customer service as needed
- Prepare ingredients and assist with meal assembly for various menu items
- Manage food stock levels and notify management of supply needs
- Uphold high standards of hygiene and food safety throughout all tasks
- Contribute to a welcoming environment by providing guest services and hospitality
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with food preparation, and cooking
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings if needed
