Pay: $22.50–28/hr starting pay
Pay will increase as you complete the process of becoming a permanent RV Technician with us (2–4 years if you are new to the industry). If you have some RV repair experience, this will be reflected in your starting pay.
Job Description:
This position is seasonal, approximately April through December. Work is generally in all weather conditions.
You will use provided training to work towards becoming an RV Technician to work in our mobile RV service business.
As an RV Technician in Training, you will work on many systems within RVs. An RV can be a motorhome, travel trailer, truck camper, or tent trailer. We largely focus on travel trailers and some motor-homes.
An RV technician is responsible for repairing the unique appliances within an RV, as well as computerized components, electrical, and plumbing systems. Structural work, roofing repairs, as well as exterior sealant work are common. Power-trains excluded, we work on almost every area of the RV. As this is not a common occupation, feel free to contact us if you would like more information on what an RV Technician does to determine if it might be a good fit.
During training, you will initially spend your days with an established RV Technician driving to customers’ RVs and learning how repairs are performed. As you gain experience in some areas, you will start performing some work individually by taking a company vehicle to customers’ locations and completing repairs you have learned. Other tasks will include shop organization, cleanup, and other tasks as assigned. As you continue to work with the existing RV Technician, you will gain the ability to work on more systems. As you progress, you will be sent to industry training to further increase your abilities.
We are a very detail-oriented company. There will be an emphasis on quality work and good customer interactions. A desire to learn and improve, a strong work ethic, customer service, and attention to detail, combined with some general technical and hands-on abilities, will make you well suited for this role.

As you progress and gain the ability to complete jobs alone, a company vehicle will be provided and you will be able to start your day by driving directly to some jobs.
