We’re looking for part-time tutors to join our team this fall. This flexible opportunity is perfect for weekday evenings and weekends.
Please note: We are currently hiring only for in-person tutoring, as it is our area of specialization. Applications for online tutoring will not be considered.
Who we are and what we do:
We offer one-on-one tutoring services in students' homes, covering all subjects from Kindergarten to University level, including Math, French, English, and the Sciences. Sessions usually take place twice a week for each student, and typically last 60 to 90 minutes.
We prioritize flexibility—tutors choose their own students and hours based on their location and availability. We pre-screen families to ensure a positive experience, provide support and resources to help you have effective sessions, and offer the option to work with multiple students.
This is a great part-time opportunity, particularly if you are looking for work in the evenings and on weekends.

Our Needs
We are looking to hire tutors from the London, Komoka, Dorchester, Strathroy, Ingersoll, Woodstock areas who demonstrate a strong interest in helping in any subject at the Elementary and High School level, including Math, English, French or the Sciences.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- Valid Drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle (preferred)
- Certified or retired teachers, student teachers, EAs, etc.
- University/College students, graduates, or post-graduates
- Previous experience working with special needs (an asset)
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience in the subject area

Job Overview
- Part-time, contract
- Hours per week vary depending on each students’ needs and the tutor’s availability
- Most tutoring sessions occur in the evenings & on weekends
- Preference for tutors who can commit for the school year or semester
- Compensation generally ranges from a base rate of $20-25/hr depending on educational qualifications and work experience. Rate premiums may apply based on distance.
