Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring activities, preventing loss, and maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance and enforcement of safety protocols. This role requires a professional with a strong sense of integrity, excellent observation skills, and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards.
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee all areas of the premises.
- Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including assisting law enforcement when necessary.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches.
- Control access points by verifying identification and issuing visitor passes as needed.
- Assist with loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or misconduct.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and staff while maintaining a secure environment.
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security services, or related fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of surveillance systems and CCTV operation is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and security protocols is advantageous.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to identify suspicious behavior quickly.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
