Location: Edmonton, AB
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM, for two weeks each month
Additional Availability: Opportunity to cover up to 10 full-time (40-hour) weeks per year for vacation relief. You’ll also be given first call in case of staff illness (with no obligation to accept).
Coverage & Growth Potential: This is a one-year maternity leave coverage position, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent part-time role at the end of the term for the right candidate.

Your Role
As a High Risk Foot Care Nurse, you’ll provide compassionate, preventative foot and nail care for high-risk patients, including those with diabetes, neuropathy, vascular disease, and other chronic conditions. You will:
- Perform routine foot care, nail care, and assessments
- Educate patients on foot health, wound prevention, and self-care
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and clinical notes
- Help shape a new standard in diabetic foot care
What We’re Looking For
- ✅ LPN with Advanced Foot Care Certificate
- ✅ Registered and in good standing with CLPNA or CRNA
- ✅ Confident, compassionate, and collaborative
- ✅ Strong communication and time management skills
- ✅ Comfortable providing outstanding customer service, with a warm and engaging bedside manner
- ✅ Willingness and confidence to educate patients and recommend treatments or products when beneficial—such as ToeFX, Onyfix, or foot care products
- ✅ Ability to recognize when a patient would benefit from additional services and guide them through the options available
- ✅ Eagerness to contribute to a positive, team-oriented clinic culture
- ✅ Willingness to grow with the role and clinic
Bonus Points For:
- Experience in wound care, compression therapy, or diabetic foot care
- Desire to develop skills in total contact casting and complex foot assessments
