We are seeking a talented and motivated Associate to join our growing Commercial Litigation team. This opportunity is ideal for a lawyer who enjoys sophisticated disputes, values high‑quality advocacy, and takes a thoughtful, client‑focused approach to complex commercial matters.
The Role
The successful candidate will:
o Advise clients over a broad range of commercial litigation matters
o Manage files from commencement through resolution, including discoveries, mediations, and trial
o Develop and execute effective litigation strategies in collaboration with clients and colleagues
o Draft pleadings, applications, motions, and written submissions
o Appear before all levels of court, mediators, and arbitrators, as appropriate
o Maintain a high standard of professionalism and client service
o Contributing to the firm’s collegial culture and continued growth
Qualifications
o Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
o Member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia
o 5+ years of commercial litigation experience
o Strong advocacy, analytical, and problem-solving skills
o Excellent written and oral communication skills
o Proven ability to manage files independently and meet deadlines

- Base salary starting at $150,000+, commensurate with year of call
