Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Therapists to provide specialized autism services in clients' homes. This role involves working directly with children to support their developmental needs through personalized therapy sessions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with children, preferably with experience in special education or patient care, and possess excellent communication skills. As a Home Therapist, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for children with autism by implementing tailored interventions within a supportive environment.
Duties
- Deliver individualized therapy sessions based on approved treatment plans to children with autism in their home settings
- Collect and document data on client progress, behaviors, and responses during therapy sessions
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to reinforce therapeutic strategies and promote consistency across environments
- Maintain detailed records of therapy activities, client progress, and any incidents or concerns
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to confidentiality standards to ensure client well-being and privacy
- Communicate regularly with parents to coordinate care plans and share insights on client development
Experience
- Prior experience working with children, especially those with developmental or behavioral challenges, is preferred
- Education requirement: Social worker, Nursing , PSW, ABA therapist, ECE. Pay will be depend on type of education and experience. discussed upon hiring.
- Background in special education, patient care, or related healthcare fields is highly desirable
- Familiarity with medical terminology and medication administration processes is a plus
- Experience in data collection and documentation related to therapy or healthcare services is beneficial
- Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and the ability to work independently within a home setting are essential for success in this role
- English, and/or Gujarati speaking (not necessary)
- Background check and vulnerable sector check is necessary.
- Work as independent contractor, no benefits, no deduction from pay.
Pay: $25.00-$65.00 per hour
