We are looking for an RECE or equivalent for a role at our fully licensed Before and After School Location in Port Elgin, Ontario. We are looking for a mature, responsible individual with a passion for children's early learning journeys.

Split Shift:7 AM to 9 AM & 2:45-6 PM(26-28 hours per week)
BAS Staff also working PD Days, March Break Camps and Summer Camp
Fixed term contract
The role would include but not limited to:
-Knowledge of CCEYA, ELECT and How Does Learning Happen
-Implement Play Based Activities following How Does Learning Happen & ELECT
-Play and Engage with the children on a daily basis, following the children's needs/interests
-Provide opportunities for safe risk and appropriate play
-Build and maintain relationships with families
-Strong Communication skills, ability to work in a team and individually
-Assist with organization of the classroom
-Maintain Confidentiality
-Collaborate with team members for room and program planning
-Ensure safety and well-being of children at all times
-With our local Bruce County resource program to understand and implement individual children needs
-Keep daily children information updated on the centres App
-Participate in Team Meetings and Educational Opportunities
-Valid First Aid/CPR Level C, VSS Check, Immunization Records
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.05-$25.86 per hour
