Job Profile and Description
The role of a Junior Line Cook is to maintain and exceed guest satisfaction through the production of Stella’s meals. The role of a Junior Line Cook will operate the following stations: Sandwich, Salads and Grills.
Report To – General Manager, Kitchen Manager and BOH Leads
Duties and Responsibilities

Adhere to Food Safe requirements to ensure efficient, safe and sanitary food production, purchasing, receiving, food storage and facility maintenance

Adhere to Stella’s “clean as you go” procedures and sanitize areas before and after use

Exhibit exacting personal uniform and personal hygiene standards

Accountable for the execution of all daily cleaning checklists, weekly cleaning checklists, and the general tidiness of station area throughout shift

Maintain the kitchen by sanitizing areas before and after use

Ensure all knives and equipment are clean and in good working condition

Measure and prepare ingredients in accordance with Food Specification manual

Ensure that production expediency (ticket times) is maintained under all situations (caveat on Guest safety and Food Quality being maintained as first priorities)

Ensure that unused product is stored properly in order to minimize waste and maximize quality
