One of our clients is looking for a Production Operator to join their manufacturing team.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for candidates with manufacturing experience
and strong mechanical aptitude.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machinery, including CNC equipment
- Perform quality inspections using calipers and other measuring tools
- Conduct routine equipment maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical
issues
- Safely operate a forklift to transport materials and finished products (if certified)
- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet production targets
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Production Operator or in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Experience operating CNC machinery is an asset
- Proficiency with hand tools and measuring instruments such as calipers
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Experience with quality control procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Forklift experience is an asset
Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
