The Community Engagement team is a part of the Fundraising and Communications Department at Fred
Victor and is responsible for the Volunteer Program, all Fundraising Events, and support of Community
Events.

What You Will Do:
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Community Engagement and working collaboratively with other
members of the Fred Victor Fundraising and Communications Team, the Taste of Regent Park Coordinator
is passionate about community events. You will bring together vendors, neighbours, volunteers and staff
to create a Market like no other.
Taste of Regent Park is a renowned community market event that brings residents together to access affordable
food, build social cohesion and support local entrepreneurs. The Taste of Regent Park runs every Wednesday
evening (5 - 8 pm) for 9 weeks July to September. The Taste of Regent Park Coordinator will be responsible for
coordinating all aspects of the weekly market while supervising a team of staff and volunteers.
Taste of Regent Park
- Plan and execute all aspects of the “Taste of Regent Park” event including plan layout, safety and logistics
- Ensure smooth execution on each event day, including overseeing vendor operation, partner agencies,
entertainers, and set up and take down of all equipment
- Coordinate pay-what-you-can ‘market bucks’ model for food access at the event
