Chiropractic Assistant/Receptionist
Lively & busy South St. Vital chiropractic office is looking to add a highly dedicated, energetic, health conscious member to our team. You must be fond of the joy & controlled chaos children & families bring to an environment & are able to multi-task through multiple interruptions as a result. The ideal candidate must be able to work on a small team yet be able to be self directed and make decisions quickly and individually. Great phone and in person communication is required. Experience with front desk and insurance is an asset, but not required.
This is a part time (30 hrs) permanent position that is available immediately for training. The position requires hours from 7am-1pm Monday-Friday mornings and occasional Saturday mornings (8am-12pm). Wage will be depending on experience and skill set. Specific on the job training will occur, however computer, insurance billings & communication skills are required. An interest in healthy living through better lifestyle is important for our office team as well as being able to manage personal stress while on the job so we can focus on our patients in the office.
Duties include:
*making appointments in person, over the phone, by email
*checking patients in/out of appointments
*collecting payments and reconciling shifts
*insurance billings
*light cleaning
*marketing
*being playful and attentive to our younger patients, assisting doctors so we can give great service to our patients.
