Pay: $22.15 - 23.42
Expected Hours: 36- 48 hours biweekly. Depending on the candidates availability we are looking for casual fill in and part-time cook staff with future growth opportunity.

Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook/Chef to join our culinary team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing meals according to established recipes and standards, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen, and providing essential backup coverage as needed. We are looking someone who is excited to deliver quality food to residents and looks forward to bringing a good day to residents through good food.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment and follow all sanitation procedures.
- Ensure all food preparation meets food safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen team members, including other Cooks and administrator, to ensure efficient operations.
- Provide backup coverage as required.
- Operate kitchen equipment, including familiarity with COMBI ovens, Flat top grills, meat slicers, mixing equipment etc.
Job Requirements:
- Proficiency in food handling and meal preparation techniques.
- Experience and execution in batch cooking and institutional cooking
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and procedures.
- Valid Food Handler Certification (required).
- Familiarity with COMBI ovens.
- Ability to follow proper sanitation procedures at all times.
- Execution on batch meals
Qualifications:
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, or equivalent certification (required)
