Receptionist - Optometric Assistant Full Time
If you have experience as a Receptionist and an enthusiasm for customer service, you are the right person for this position.
As the new Receptionist/Optometric Assistant with IRIS in Campbell River, you'll be part of a supportive, fun and collaborative workplace where our team is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care. You'll work alongside our dedicated Partner Optometrist and an experienced team that is committed to providing exceptional eye care while creating a welcoming, positive experience for every patient. We believe in supporting one another, celebrating successes, and helping every team member grow.
Receptionist/Optometric Assistant's primary responsibilities are:
- Answering phone calls, emails, taking correct information and answering all questions efficiently, collecting health information
- Greet patients and a friendly courteous way and schedule or cancel optical examinations and appointments.
- Invoicing and/or insurance payments from patients.
- Pre-testing patients, prepping exam rooms, cleaning and setting up equipment, and showing patients how to care for contact lenses, perform tests such as OCT and VF.
- Answer a high volume of calls and maintain a high pace level of work
- Assisting the doctors when needed
