What You'll Be Doing
Every day is a little different, but your work may include:
- Managing bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients.
- Reconciling bank and credit card accounts.
- Preparing financial reports and working papers.
- Processing payroll and government remittances.
- Preparing HST returns.
- Supporting year-end engagements.
- Communicating with clients and answering questions.
- Learning and using cloud accounting technology including QuickBooks Online, Dext, Plooto, Financial Cents, Payworks, and Microsoft Teams.
- Looking for ways to improve processes and make our team even better.
We'd Love to Meet You If You Have
- Diploma or degree in Accounting or Bookkeeping.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online (or willingness to become an expert).
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- A positive attitude.
- A curiosity for learning.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A desire to grow professionally.
Bonus points if you've worked with cloud accounting software or enjoy learning new technology.
