Role Overview:
The Registered Health Care Aides (HCAs) are vital members of the care team reporting directly to the Care Manager. The HCA provides hands-on personal care and support to clients, assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. They are also responsible for monitoring clients' conditions and promptly reporting any changes to the Care Manager. This role includes medication assistance in accordance with company policy while upholding professional standards and always respecting the dignity, privacy, and autonomy of each client.

Qualifications and Experience:
Qualifications:
- Active registration with the College of LPNs and HCA and valid practice permit are required
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.
Experience:
- Experience in a home care setting or related health care facility is an asset.
- Familiarity with caring for seniors or clients with complex care needs is a plus.
- Experience in providing companionship or support to individuals is preferred.
Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
