Responsibilities
- Support residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and safety protocols
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area
- Assist with household chores including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living environment for residents
- Engage residents in social activities, recreational programs, and meaningful conversations to enhance their quality of life
- Monitor residents’ health status, report any concerns or changes to healthcare professionals promptly
- Follow care plans meticulously, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and on time
Experience
- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly desirable
- Experience providing senior care or caring for individuals with disabilities or dementia is preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety standards is essential
- Background in caregiving roles that involve home care or personal support services will be advantageous
- Ability to perform light cleaning tasks and meal preparation with attention to hygiene standards
- Strong communication skills combined with patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support others

Pay: $27.53-$31.57 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 – 40.0 per week
