Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with information about hotel services and amenities.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently while ensuring accuracy in guest billing.
- Answer phone calls promptly, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and addressing inquiries or concerns effectively.
- Assist guests with reservations, modifications, and cancellations while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Handle guest complaints or issues with professionalism and resolve them to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain the front desk area in an organized manner, including managing supplies and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure that guest rooms meet quality standards.
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions in the hotel management system.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse guests; multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus.
- Proficiency in using phone systems and hotel management software is desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a commitment to providing outstanding guest services.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- A friendly demeanor with a professional appearance that reflects the hotel's standards.
