Bobby's Burgers by world-renowned chef Bobby Flay is opening its first Canadian flagship location at The Well in downtown Toronto, and we're looking for an exceptional Assistant General Manager to help lead this exciting launch.
This isn't just another restaurant management position.

About the Role
As the Assistant General Manager, you'll play a critical leadership role in every aspect of the restaurant's success.
You'll work directly alongside the General Manager to recruit, train, coach and develop a high-performing team while ensuring every guest receives an exceptional dining experience.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading from the floor, thrives in high-volume environments, and wants to grow into a General Manager position as the company expands.
Responsibilities
- Support all day-to-day restaurant operations.
- Lead, coach and develop Front of House and Back of House teams.
- Recruit, interview, onboard and train new team members.
- Assist with scheduling and labour management.
- Drive guest satisfaction and resolve guest concerns professionally.
- Ensure food quality, cleanliness and brand standards are consistently executed.
- Assist with inventory management, ordering and cost controls.
- Support the execution of local marketing initiatives and community engagement.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety and liquor regulations.
- Lead by example while creating a positive and accountable culture.
What We're Looking For
- Previous restaurant management experience in a high-volume environment.
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
- Passion for hospitality and guest experience.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with scheduling, inventory and labour management.
- Ability to remain calm and lead under pressure.
- Smart Serve Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Food Handler Certification is considered an asset.
