Job Overview

This is a part-time position that requires occasional evening hours and will also include on-call and holiday coverage. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent phone etiquette, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience with social media platforms, website development, marketing and promotion would be an asset. Experience in a medical office setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Duties
- Provide friendly, outgoing, quality customer service to patients.
- Schedule appointments for clients.
- Manage incoming calls and address inquiries.
- Submit claims to extended health plans and collect funds using POS machine
Qualifications
- Exceptional communication skills, friendly, outgoing, with strong initiative and a professional demeanor at all times.
- Experience in an administrative or customer service role.
- Proficiency in using phone systems and standard office software applications.
- Familiarity with extended health portals is beneficial but not necessary.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
We are seeking an individual who is available for our 20-hour weekly schedule, including 2 evening shifts until 6:00 PM, and willing to cover for vacation/time off when needed.
