Responsibilities
- Accurately measure to ensure accurate window placement and fitment in residential settings
- Use hand tools and power tools to remove old windows and install new units efficiently and safely
- Prepare work sites by caulking, sealing, and ensuring surfaces are ready for window installation
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks such as framing, restoration, or construction painting as needed for seamless integration
- Conduct quality checks during and after installation to ensure proper operation, fit, and finish
- Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling materials like flooring or tile laying components during projects
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools, caulking guns, and other essential installation equipment
- Construction experience with a focus on residential projects or remodeling work
- Strong carpentry skills for framing, trimming, or restoring window opening
- Knowledge of restoration techniques applicable to older or damaged window frames
- Experience with construction painting, plumbing connections, or welding is a plus for integrated project tasks
