We are seeking an experienced Corporate Partnerships & Community Engagement Officer to join an established organization based in Maple Ridge. This is a full-time and 18-month contract opportunity covering a maternity leave scheduled to start early-mid September. Their team is open to have the successful candidate join mid-end of August.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in corporate partnerships, sponsorship development, fundraising, or business development within a non-profit, healthcare, events, or related sector
- Must possess large event/fundraiser experience with corporate partners
- Proven success managing the full sponsorship lifecycle (prospecting, negotiation, activation, stewardship, and renewal)
- Strong experience in corporate sponsorship strategy, consultative sales, and revenue generation
- Lives local to Tri-Cities, Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Abbotsford or Mission
- Proficiency with CRM systems such as Raiser's Edge, Salesforce, or equivalent platforms
- Demonstrated ability in data analysis, reporting, and performance measurement to drive ROI
- Experience in event strategy, experiential marketing, and large-scale community initiatives
- Excellent stakeholder relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills
- Strong project management, budgeting, and strategic planning capabilities
- Public speaking and presentation experience preferred
- Experience working with automotive, lifestyle brands, festivals, or public events is considered an asset
- References and a background screening will be conducted for candidates moving forward in consideration
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive corporate partnerships and sponsorship strategy to drive sustainable revenue growth
- Identify, cultivate, negotiate, and steward corporate sponsors and partners through a consultative approach
- Manage the full sponsorship lifecycle including prospecting, proposal development, activation, reporting, and renewal
- Achieve annual sponsorship and corporate revenue targets through proactive pipeline management and relationship development
- Lead the planning and execution of signature fundraising initiatives (e.g., RevUp for Men’s Health, Fund Run, donor engagement events)
- Collaborate with internal teams including Executive Director, Major Gifts Officer, Stewardship & Communications, and Operations
- Build and maintain relationships with business leaders, industry associations, and community partners
- Oversee third-party and community-led fundraising initiatives, providing guidance and support
- Monitor and analyze sponsorship and fundraising performance using CRM data, audience insights, and analytics tools
- Prepare reports and dashboards to track progress against revenue, engagement, and participation goals
- Represent the organization within the business community to strengthen partnerships and brand visibility

- $65,000 - $85,000 salary, commensurate with experience
