Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques
- Repair or replace faulty components, including belts, bearings, gears, and hydraulic systems
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete repairs
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems
- Follow safety protocols and ensure all work is performed in accordance with company standards
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in repairing industrial or automotive equipment preferred
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
- Experience with power tools including drills, grinders, and impact wrenches is highly desirable
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent safety awareness and adherence to safety procedures
- Prior experience working with machinery maintenance is a plus
Pay: $23.59-$48.62 per hour
