Accounting Assistant
Best Account Consultants is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our growing team. We have two locations in Milton and Mississauga, Ontario, and provide accounting, bookkeeping, and tax services to a wide range of clients.
The Accounting Assistant position will be based at our Mississauga location. The successful candidate will assist with bookkeeping, accounting, tax-related work, and administrative tasks while maintaining accurate financial records for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting tasks
- Record and reconcile financial transactions
- Prepare bank and credit card reconciliations
- Assist with GST/HST filings and other accounting-related work
- Communicate with clients as required
Qualifications
- Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience is an asset
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills are required (1 year experience)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
