The Total Rewards Centre of Excellence is responsible for the design, governance and administration of employee benefit plans and National Programs that support more than 220,000 colleagues across Loblaw Companies Limited, Shoppers Drug Mart and our affiliated businesses. Our team partners with HR, Finance, Payroll, Legal, Procurement and external vendors to deliver programs that enhance the colleague experience while ensuring operational excellence, financial stewardship and regulatory compliance.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Director, Benefits, the Analyst, Total Rewards will support the governance, administration and continuous improvement of Loblaw's employee benefits and other Total Rewards programs.

Key Responsibilities
Total Rewards Programs
Support the administration, governance and oversight of enterprise-wide Total Rewards Programs including:

Fleet Program

Colleague and Corporate Discount Programs

Service Recognition Program

Relocation Program
Responsibilities include:

Support daily administration and resolution of colleague inquiries through ServiceNow and other channels.

Coordinate program eligibility, onboarding/offboarding activities and vendor file transmissions.
-
Maintain program documentation, policies, procedures and job aids.
-
Assist with program reporting, metrics and dashboards.
-
Monitor vendor service levels and support ongoing vendor governance activities.
-
Participate in vendor meetings, contract renewals and annual program reviews.
-
Assist with implementation of new programs and enhancements.
-
Identify opportunities to improve processes, automate administrative tasks and enhance the colleague experience.
-
Support compliance with company policies and program governance standards.
Benefits Programs
Assist the Benefits team with ongoing administration and governance of health and wellness programs by:

Supporting program administration and issue resolution.

Assisting with benefit reporting, analytics and annual budgeting activities.
-
Preparing reports, presentations and business insights.
-
Supporting policy development and documentation.
-
Assisting with implementation of benefit program enhancements and special projects.
-
Participating in benchmarking and market research to identify emerging trends and best practices.

Supporting communication materials and colleague education resources.
Continuous Improvement & Business Support

Analyze data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
-
Assist with development of reports, dashboards and performance metrics.

Support audits and governance activities to ensure program compliance.

Contribute to cross-functional initiatives involving HR, Payroll, Finance, Procurement, Technology and external vendors.

Recommend opportunities to simplify processes, improve self-service and increase operational efficiency.

Support special projects including acquisitions, harmonization initiatives and implementation of new Total Rewards programs.
Qualifications
-
Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, Finance or a related discipline.
-
1–3 years of experience in Human Resources, Total Rewards, Benefits Administration, Finance, Vendor Management or a related analytical role.
-
Knowledge of employee benefits or Total Rewards programs is considered a strong asset.
-
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
-
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
-
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
-
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
-
Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
-
Experience with Workday, ServiceNow or HRIS systems is considered an asset.
-
Experience working with external vendors or third-party administrators is an asset.

French language skills are considered an asset.
