ABOUT THE ROLE
We're building a CRM + automation system for a growing service business. We need a GoHighLevel expert who can design, build, and maintain our platform across three phases—with the possibility of scaling this service to additional clients.
This is not a one-time project. We're looking for a partner who will stay involved, optimize over time, and potentially help us productize this for other businesses.
THE ENGAGEMENT (3-PHASE STRUCTURE)
Phase 1: Discovery & Design (Week 1)
- Audit current operations
- Design the workflow architecture
- Map out pipeline stages and automations
- Investment: $800
Phase 2: Build & Configuration (Weeks 2-3)
- Configure all workflows and automations
- Set up pipeline management
- Integrate calendars and third-party tools
- Test and troubleshoot
- Investment: $1,500
Phase 3: Ongoing Support (Monthly, ongoing)
- Monthly optimization and reporting
- Troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Scale automations as business grows
- 4-6 hours/month
- Investment: $300-400/month
Total Year 1: $2,300 + ($300-400 × 12 months) = $5,900-6,100
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Configure GoHighLevel workflows and automations from scratch
- Set up multi-stage sales pipelines with proper lead tracking
- Integrate calendar systems (Google Calendar, Outlook) for scheduling
- Monitor performance and optimize based on actual usage
- Document everything for team training
- Advise on process improvements
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 2+ years of GoHighLevel configuration experience (required)
- Proven ability to build complex workflows and automations
- Strong understanding of CRM pipeline logic
- Experience integrating Stripe, email, SMS, calendar systems
- Operationally minded — You understand how small businesses actually use systems
- Detail-oriented documentation and communication skills
- Willing to stay involved long-term (this is not a hit-and-run project)
EVALUATION PROCESS
You'll be tested on:
- Workflow Automation — Build a sample sequence based on our scenario
- Pipeline Configuration — Design a multi-stage pipeline with proper logic
- Calendar Integration — Set up and test booking/availability sync
