JOB OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a high-energy, enthusiastic, and customer-focused person that can keep our facilities throughout HRM in pristine working order. The ideal candidate will be responsible for general maintenance and repairs around our 7 facilities in HRM, ensuring that locations are clean and in good working order. Additionally, this role involves seasonal duties such as snow removal in the winter and lawn maintenance in the summer months. If you are a proactive, technical person with a strong work ethic and ability to handle a variety of tasks, we would love for you to apply!
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, & SKILLS
- Superior customer service abilities.
- Effective communication skills.
- Technical (plumbing/electrical/general carpentry) abilities and know-how.
- Self-starter and can-do attitude with a high attention-to-detail.
- Valid drivers license with a clean drivers abstract.
- Clean background criminal record check.
EXPERIENCE
- Experience operating a snow plow, skid steer, and/or backhoe.
- 1+ year in general construction/building maintenance type role.
- Experience operating cleaning equipment and hand tools.
- Proven commitment to Health & Safety practices and procedures.
