We are searching for a part-time Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to provide administrative support in accordance with established policies and guidelines.

Provide professional telephone and reception services in office locations
Screen service/information requests, provide general information and appropriate referrals
Schedule and book client appointments with staff
Manage and organize reception area including clients’ computers, public information boards and other resource areas
Manage the meeting room and computer booking systems, and ensure meeting rooms are kept clean and tidy at all times
Provide administrative support to staff on a scheduled and ad hoc basis
Collect, tabulate, maintains accurate and timely inventory lists and prepare update reports and records as required
Develop and maintain computer and paper filing systems, including input of service data
Maintain the CCS general email account and respond to general email enquiries
Receive, open and distribute correspondence
Ensure phones, copiers, fax and computer equipment are fully operational
Provide backup support and coverage for other administrative team members as required
Attend required agency activities and meetings, perform other duties as assigned
What are we looking for?
College diploma in clerical administration or the equivalent in training and experience
Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in the settlement and/or community work sectors.
Proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Office, Outlook and internet applications

Location: 164 Queen St. East, Brampton, ON
Compensation: $23.68 – $26.37 based on experience
Hours of work: 7 hours per week, including evenings, weekends and occasional overtime is required
