We are a busy, patient-focused community pharmacy committed to delivering high-quality care and efficient service. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant with strong experience in ODB, third-party billing, and Kroll software.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process prescriptions using Kroll pharmacy software
- Handle Ontario Drug Benefit (ODB) claims and adjudication
- Process third-party insurance billing (private and public plans)
- Assist pharmacists with prescription preparation and workflow
- Manage refills, patient profiles, and documentation
- Deliver excellent customer service in person and over the phone
- Maintain inventory, stock, and assist with medication ordering
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy standards and policies
Requirements
- Mandatory: Experience with Kroll software - 1 year minimum
- Strong knowledge of ODB and third-party billing
- Previous experience in a community pharmacy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with blister/compliance packaging
- Familiarity with fast-paced pharmacy workflow
