Job Summary
Trimont Manufacturing is seeking a proactive Quality Assurance Technician for both internal and supplier product. In this role, you are the critical bridge between our suppliers and our production floor. You will be the key driver in managing supplier relationships, conducting rigorous incoming inspections, and implementing preventative measures to ensure our supply chain meets our standards.
Duties
Quality Inspection & Standards
- Verify parts meet all specifications or standards.
- Perform all required testing and update the tracking system.
- Maintain and calibrate measuring and test equipment and meet the requirement.
- Perform daily First Offs (Inspection, Testing, and Data Recording).
- Perform 3D scanning duties.
Supplier & Internal Quality Control
- Drive reduction of supplier defects through incoming quality control activities.
- Manage supplier rejects (return preparation, RGA data entry, and QAD disposition).
- Serve as a supplier quality contact; liaise with suppliers and plant/TTR as required.
- Support reduction of internal defects through timely containment and follow‑up.
Investigation & Technical Support
- Support investigations and countermeasures for supplier, in‑house, and customer
- Support new model event and trials
- Support line team leader.
- Perform jobs as designated by the team leader/coordinator
Workplace Maintenance
- Ensure housekeeping and equipment 5S is completed daily.
- Commit to customer satisfaction and support the company and department objectives.
Skills
- Solid practical experience in Supplier Quality or QA within a fast-paced manufacturing environment (Automotive experience highly preferred).
- Proficient English communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and maintain professional relationships with external suppliers.
- Strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement
- Ability to do independent judgment to maintain high quality standards
- Practical experience essential
- Able to work independently without supervision
- Able to work shifts and overtime

Pay: $44,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
