Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes to order, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and restaurant standards
- Cook menu items accurately and efficiently, ensuring consistency in presentation and taste
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to maintain hygiene standards
- Assist with food plating, garnishing, and presentation before serving
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by performing various prep tasks as needed
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers in accordance with safety protocols
- Adhere to serving and food handling regulations to provide safe dining experiences for guests
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
- Basic understanding of meal preparation and serving procedures
- Prior kitchen experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving ingredients or equipment

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
