Job Summary
We are looking for greenhouse and field labourers to join our cut flower operation in Rosedale, BC. Jobs include planting, weeding and harvesting cut flowers and helping with maintaining our farm. Must have minimum 1 year experience as a farm labourer.
Duties
- harvesting flowers in our greenhouses and fields
- Perform planting, watering, weeding, and harvesting activities
- Use hand tools such as shovels, hoes, and pruning shears for crop care and maintenance
- Carry out heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, or harvested produce safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure safe handling of tools and materials
Experience
- 1 year prior experience in horticulture or farming is required; training will be provided for all necessary skills
- Familiarity with hand tools and their proper use is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn new techniques related to farm operations
Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
