Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook specializing in Wok cuisine to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of wok-based dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is prepared safely, following proper food handling and safety protocols
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, including equipment and utensils
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality and safety
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service and timely order completion
- Follow health regulations and safety guidelines to uphold sanitation standards at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, wok skill, or as a line cook in a restaurant setting
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of meal preparation, especially wok cooking techniques
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on presentation and quality control
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Familiarity with the food industry standards for cleanliness, safety, and customer service excellence
