Job Overview
We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Residential/ Commercial Painters to join our Company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying paint, caulking, preparation of surfaces, coatings, and finishes to various products and surfaces, ensuring high-quality standards and durability. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where mechanical knowledge, precision, and safety are paramount. The Painter will need to meet production goals while maintaining a safe and efficient workspace. Positions open for Sub contract or hourly painters. Looking for candidates for 1st and 2nd stages as well as final services for new build residential homes. Spray knowledge will be considered an asset but not necessary with the appropriate skills in later stages. Must have own transportation and all applicable documentation IE. GST, WCB etc. Locations vary depending on job. Locations include but are not limited to Leduc, Spruce Grove Edmonton, Beaumont and Sherwood Park.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed
- Apply paint, or other finishes using hand tools, power tools, or spray equipment
- Follow safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to site regulations
- Perform inspections to ensure finishes meet quality standards and specifications
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment to promote safety and efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven experience in painting within residential setting
- Mechanical knowledge related to machinery operation and maintenance
- Proficiency with hand tools, spray equipment
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during application processes
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment or alone

Pay: $19.00-$40.00 per hour
