Canadian International Student Services (CISS) is currently looking for a Social Media Coordinator for its ESL Summer Camps. The successful candidate will be a creative, organised, and enthusiastic communicator who captures the energy and community of our camps through compelling social media content and strategic platform management.
This is a full-time contract position from June 27 to August 8, 2026.
The Social Media Coordinator is required to live on-site at a University of Toronto residence with other staff and students for the duration of their contract.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Managing and updating all camp social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and others)
- Creating daily content including photos, videos, captions, and stories that showcase camp activities and student experiences
- Developing and implementing content calendars aligned with camp events and milestones
- Engaging with followers and responding to inquiries to build community online
- Collaborating with camp leadership and staff to ensure consistent messaging and branding
- Tracking analytics and adjusting content strategy based on performance metrics
- Assisting with other camp communications and marketing materials as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in social media management
- Strong written and visual communication skills
- Proficiency with content creation tools and basic photo/video editing
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Creative problem-solving and adaptable personality
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Must be at least 19 years of age
Compensation
- $700 per week
- Room and board included
