General Labourer – Home Staging
The Staging Co. is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated General Labourer to join our team. This is a hands-on position supporting the day-to-day operations of our home staging business/warehouse, including the delivery, setup, removal, and organization of furniture, décor, and staging inventory.
The ideal candidate is someone who takes initiative, works well independently and as part of a team, and is comfortable in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment. We are looking for someone who can think on their feet, solve problems as they arise, and is willing to learn.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload furniture, décor, artwork, rugs, bins, and other staging inventory
- Assist with the delivery and removal of staging inventory from residential properties
- Safely and carefully move furniture throughout homes, including up and down stairs
- May be required to drive company vehicles, including staging box truck to and from stages
- Assemble and disassemble furniture when required
- Assist the staging team with furniture placement and setup as required
- Pack and unpack décor and staging accessories carefully and efficiently
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, vehicles, and staging inventory
- Help prepare inventory for upcoming staging projects
- Identify and help troubleshoot minor issues or challenges that arise while on-site
- Follow instructions, staging plans, and company procedures
- Take initiative and identify tasks that need to be completed without requiring frequent direction
- Handle clients' homes and company inventory with care and professionalism
- Perform other general labour and warehouse duties as required

- Must possess a valid G-Class Licence in Ontario with a clean driving record and be comfortable operating the company box truck as needed

Physical Requirements
This position can be physically demanding at times. Candidates must be comfortable with:
- Regularly lifting and carrying furniture, boxes, bins, and staging inventory
- Moving items up and down stairs
- Repeated bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling
- Being on their feet for extended periods
- Working safely as part of a team when moving larger or heavier items
Experience & Availability
Previous experience in general labour, moving, warehousing, furniture delivery, construction, landscaping, or a similar hands-on role is an asset but not required. We are willing to train the right person who demonstrates a strong work ethic, initiative, reliability, and willingness to learn. Scheduled shifts begin M-F as early as 8:00am depending on business requirements. We are closed to the public on weekends, however, employees may be occasionally required work a weekend shift depending on business requirements.

Pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour
