Position Summary
The Front Desk Receptionist / Client Care Coordinator is the first point of contact for patients and visitors at our multidisciplinary health care clinic. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming, professional, and efficient front desk experience while supporting the daily flow of the clinic. The successful candidate will be organized, empathetic, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner, both in person and over the phone.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls, take messages, and respond to general inquiries.
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments across multiple practitioners and services.
- Check patients in and out, verify demographic and insurance information, and update patient records accurately.
- Process payments, direct billing, and basic billing support as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and waiting area.
- Support patient flow and help keep appointment schedules running on time.
- Coordinate effectively with clinicians and other team members to support daily operations.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, emailing, faxing, inventory, and general office support.
- Follow clinic policies, privacy requirements, and confidentiality standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical, clinic, or customer service setting is an asset.
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Comfortable using scheduling software and basic computer programs.
- Professional, calm, and compassionate approach with patients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Jane App, direct billing, or a multidisciplinary clinic is an asset.

Pay: $16.00-$21.00 per hour
