NOW HIRING A PROJECT MANAGER
WINMAR® Kootenay is an IICRC certified property restoration firm with offices in Cranbrook, BC and Nelson, BC. We specialize in water & fire restoration, hazardous materials abatement, and renovations.
Our Nelson office is growing and we are seeking qualified individuals for the following position who can work on a full-time basis.
Project Manager:
Reporting to the General Manager, the Project Manager is responsible for project development and execution from sales to closeout.
-Prepare estimates in Xactimate, and schedule work.
-Establish electronic project file and ensure accurate daily reporting of all relevant information
-Provide clear direction to lead technicians & subcontractors and monitor the work as necessary
-Control scope, manage stakeholder expectations, and gather/implement change approvals as necessary
-Proactively communicate with stakeholders before, during, and after project completion
-Job cost all projects and be accountable for delivering upon revenue and margin targets
-Practice continual improvement through timely, accurate, and pinpointed feedback
Qualified Candidates:
-Proficiency with Xactimate® estimating program required.
-Presently located in the Nelson area or able to permanently relocate prior to starting.
-Self-motivated, goal orientated, and results driven
-Familiarity with the insurance restoration industry
-AHERA certification considered an asset
-Must have a class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract and no criminal record
-Strong desire to learn & embrace on-going technical education and professional development
-Compensation commensurate with value delivered to the organization.
-Vehicle & cell phone provided.
-Travel may be required to meet the needs of our customers throughout the east Kootenay. Rotational on-call may be required after-hours and weekends.
