Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cell Phone Repair Technician to join our team. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and troubleshoot a variety of mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both hardware and software components, including operating systems such as Android and iOS, and be capable of working with schematics and hand tools. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair hardware issues on mobile devices, including screen replacements, battery swaps, and component repairs
- Troubleshoot software problems related to operating systems like Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows
- Use schematics and technical diagrams to identify faulty components and perform precise repairs
- Utilize hand tools effectively for disassembly and reassembly of devices
- Test repaired devices to ensure proper functionality before returning to customers
- Assist retail sales by providing technical advice and product recommendations when needed
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency during repairs
- Keep detailed records of repairs performed and parts used for each device
Requirements
- Proven experience repairing mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets
- Strong knowledge of operating systems including Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows
- Familiarity with computer hardware, software troubleshooting, and analysis skills
- Ability to read schematics and work with various hand tools effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Experience with retail sales or customer service is a plus
- Strong communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to customers
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
