Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a positive experience for all patrons. Prior restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Take customer orders with professionalism and attentiveness, ensuring timely service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling standards.
- Ensure responsible serving by monitoring guest alcohol consumption in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist in inventory management.
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming environment, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Follow all food industry regulations related to serving, food safety, and hospitality standards.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing tabs accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $17.20-$30.36 per hour
