ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Handle parts requirements of customers through counter service and sales;
Prepare detailed invoices and customer statements;
Supplying parts quotes and sales to service, internal, retail, and wholesale clients;
Assist with shipping as necessary;
Supply service technicians with parts ordered through parts requisition forms;
Answer phone calls on an ongoing basis;
Maintain the inventory and cleanliness of the Parts Department;
Verify receiving shipments by checking order against the packing list;
Assist in keeping parts clean and shelf section area stocked and orderly;
Follow-up on shortages and expedite through reporting to Parts Manager;
Ensure accuracy in all transactions, inventory, and procedures;
Work in partnership with department managers and employees to maximize store sales and in-store presence;
When necessary, help in the delivery of parts to clients;
Personal Protective Equipment (safety glasses and safety shoes) to be worn at all times when necessary;
Performs other duties as required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Auto industry experience
Knowledge of PBS is considered an asset
Minimum 2-year telephone-based customer service experience.
Possess exceptionally strong telephone communications skills.
To be a dealership/brand advocate promoting extraordinary customer service.
Must be detail-oriented, thorough, and able to work independently.
Is knowledgeable about dealership operations.
Flexibility and adaptability.
The desire for continuous professional growth and improvement.
Problem-solving.
Ability to work effectively and congenially with others in the department and the dealership.
Ability and aptitude to establish rapport with customers over the telephone.
