Landscape Construction Labourer / Skilled Team Member
Full-Time Seasonal | $20–23/hour Dundas, Ontario
Rock Crest Landscapes By Design has proudly served Ancaster, Dundas, Burlington, and Oakville for over 25 years. We specialize in professional landscape construction including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and outdoor living spaces.
We are currently hiring a full-time seasonal Landscape Construction Labourer to join our team for the close of the season.
We are looking for reliable, motivated individuals who take pride in quality work and want to grow within the landscape construction industry.
Pay & Schedule
- $20–23 per hour (based on experience)
- Full-time seasonal position (Mon - Friday)
- Consistent hours
- Opportunity for returning employment in spring
Responsibilities
- Assist in building patios, walkways, retaining walls, and outdoor features
- Prepare and grade base materials
- Install interlock and natural stone
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely
- Load and unload materials
- Work efficiently under direction of a Lead Hand
- Maintain clean and safe job sites
- Contribute positively to team performance
Qualifications
- Landscape construction or general construction experience preferred
- Experience with interlock, stone work, grading, or excavation is an asset
- Strong work ethic and reliability (show up ready to work)
- Physically capable of outdoor construction work
- Ability to take direction and work well within a team
- Valid driver’s license required
Ideal Candidate
- Takes initiative without constant supervision
- Has transferable skills from construction, carpentry, masonry, or similar trades
- Interested in developing into a Lead Hand or Crew Leader role
- Values teamwork and professionalism
