TQ Design Cabinetry is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker / Millworker to join our team in Coquitlam.
We work on a variety of custom residential and commercial millwork projects. We’re looking for someone who knows cabinetry, cares about quality, and wants steady full-time work with a growing company.
What You’ll Do
- Build and assemble custom cabinets, kitchens, vanities, closets and architectural millwork
- Read and work from shop drawings
- Machine, edge-band, drill and assemble cabinet components
- Install hinges, drawer slides and specialty hardware
- Operate woodworking machinery and power tools
- Check dimensions, fit and finish before products leave the shop
- Work with the production team to solve fabrication issues
- Keep your work area clean and organized
What We’re Looking For
- 1 + years of cabinet making / millwork experience
- Strong understanding of cabinet construction
- Able to read shop drawings and work accurately from measurements
- Comfortable with woodworking machinery and tools
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Takes pride in producing quality work
