Summary
We are seeking a dual-skilled HVAC Technician who is also a Journeyman or Apprentice Plumber to join our Edmonton team. This role is ideal for a mechanically versatile professional who can work across HVAC and Plumbing systems seamlessly, supporting installation, maintenance, and repair work in commercial and multi-unit residential environments.
Responsibilities
· Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including chillers, rooftop units, and air conditioning systems
· Perform plumbing installations, maintenance, and repairs, including piping, fixtures, and mechanical room components.
· Diagnose HVAC and plumbing issues and implement effective, code-compliant solutions.
· Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings for both HVAC and plumbing systems.
· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to complete projects efficiently and safely.
· Ensure compliance with all local safety codes, regulations, and industry standards.
· Conduct routine inspections of HVAC and plumbing systems to prevent failures.
· Provide excellent customer service and technical guidance to clients.
· Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
Qualifications
· Journeyman Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Certification (required).
· Journeyman Plumbing Certification OR Registered Apprentice Plumber (required).
· Proven experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair in commercial and multi-unit residential environments
· Strong working knowledge of both mechanical HVAC systems and plumbing systems.
· Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and construction drawings.
· Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across multiple trades.
· Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
· Knowledge of local codes and safety regulations in both HVAC and plumbing.
