Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Estate Gardener / House Manager Assistant to support the maintenance and operation of a private estate. This role involves hands-on gardening, landscape upkeep, and assisting with household management tasks. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to estate care. Duties
- Maintain and care for the estate’s gardens, including planting, pruning, watering, fertilizing, and pest control
- Assist with landscape design projects and seasonal planting schedules
- Perform general groundskeeping tasks such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and maintaining pathways
- Support household management tasks including organizing supplies, managing schedules for maintenance or service providers, and overseeing household inventories
- Assist with indoor and outdoor event preparations as needed
- Ensure all estate areas are kept clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless estate operations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in gardening, landscaping, or groundskeeping preferred
- Knowledge of horticultural practices and plant care techniques
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to operate gardening tools and equipment safely
- Excellent attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with estate management software or household logistics coordination
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for transportation needs within the estate premises

Pay: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
