Service Call Technician/Carpenter
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Service Call Technician to provide maintenance and repair services for McDonald’s restaurant locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure restaurants remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.
Responsibilities
- Repair and replace floor and wall tile.
- Perform caulking and sealing work in kitchens, washrooms, and dining areas.
- Install and repair doors, frames, locks, and related hardware.
- Complete minor plumbing repairs, including faucets, fixtures, and drains.
- Perform interior and exterior painting and touch-up work.
- Carry out minor carpentry work, including trim repairs, framing modifications, millwork installation, and general building maintenance.
- Assist with occasional site work and small renovation projects as required.
- Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner.
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine appropriate solutions.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
- Communicate effectively with restaurant managers and team members.
- Complete daily reporting, including photos and written updates through our internal app.
Qualifications
- Experience in general maintenance, construction, or building repairs.
- Working knowledge of tile installation, caulking, doors, hardware, and basic carpentry.
- Basic plumbing and painting skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift materials and perform physically demanding work.
- Experience working on commercial sites is considered an asset.

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
