Job Title: General Labourer – Bakery Production

In this role, you will support our daily baking operations by handling ingredients, prepping equipment, packaging finished goods, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.
No prior baking experience is required—we will train anyone with a great attitude and a strong work ethic!
Duties and Responsibilities
- Production Support: Assist bakers with measuring ingredients, loading ovens, and moving heavy trays or dough carts.
- Packaging: Slice, wrap, label, and box baked goods according to quality standards.
- Sanitation & Cleaning: Wash mixing bowls, utensils, and baking pans. Sweep, mop, and ensure the production floor meets food safety standards.
- Inventory & Receiving: Help unload ingredient deliveries (like heavy flour sacks) and organize the stockroom.
- Teamwork: Follow all safety guidelines and work collaboratively to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications and Skills
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to [50 lbs] consistently throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Comfortable working in a warm environment (near baking ovens).
- Strong reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Asset (but not required): Previous experience in food production, warehousing, or retail/hospitality.
