Magic Circle Workshop is a full scale production studio, with end-to-end video and photography services that stand alone and integrate seamlessly with Cossette and our broader network, Plus Company. As a Production Coordinator, you will assist in the day to day procedures and business administration of the production department and report directly to the Director of Video Production.
You’ll be joining a team of 15+ producers across video, post-production, studio, print, XM, and social. Our team comes from various backgrounds and levels of experience, and we operate as a collaborative collective where producers are always supporting, teaching and mentoring one another.
We hold ourselves to a high bar of excellence, with a genuine desire to produce incredible creative and a high level of craft and polish in everything we touch. We work hard but we also believe that a production environment should be genuinely fun. Note this is a hybrid role in office.
We take mentorship and career growth seriously. While the nature of production can require overtime or weekend work to meet specific client needs, we are mindful of work-life balance and strive to ensure every team member feels supported and set up for success.

Transparency matters to us. For this role, you can expect a salary between $50,000-65,000 annually, depending on experience. This is for an existing vacancy.
what you will do:
- Be an integral part of the production team, supporting Producers day-to-day in a fast paced environment across multiple projects including broadcast TV, social, digital campaigns.
- Support the production and finance teams with essential business administration
- Support production team with financial tasks such as creating estimates, processing invoices and reconciling projects.
- Manage union talent (ACTRA/UDA) documentation including submitting contracts and processing invoices.
- Manage stock image and footage licensing, copyright, music rights, and asset organization and user access.
- Provide support to freelance producers.
Qualifications:
- A genuinely positive and collaborative attitude.
- An unwavering sense of curiosity, a desire to learn as much as possible, and a drive to grow into a producer role.
- A high level of organization and a knack for catching the small details others might miss.
- Capable of meeting deadlines and working with daily time constraints.
- A proactive approach, seeing what needs to be done and jumping in to help without being asked.
- Ability to complete multiple tasks across multiple productions in a fast-moving environment.
- A combination of experience and relevant training. We welcome candidates with unique backgrounds.
- Knowledge of UDA & ACTRA is a plus, If not, an appetite to learn about these unions.
- Bilingualism is a plus.
- Comfort with Google Suite and ideally some experience with Adobe Suite a plus.
- Experience in a production environment, either at a creative agency, production company or related field is a plus.
