About the Role – Inside Sales & Quotations Representative
Province Electric Supply is looking for a motivated and team-oriented individual to join our branch in a dual Inside Sales & Quotations role. This position combines front-line customer support with project-based quoting responsibilities, playing a key role in supporting both day-to-day branch operations and project opportunities.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment, with strong product knowledge and the ability to manage both customer inquiries and detailed project quotations.
Major Responsibilities
- Customer Support: Assist customers via phone, email, and at the sales counter, providing prompt and professional service
- Inquiry Management: Respond to incoming and outgoing customer inquiries, including order and quote status follow-ups
- Order Processing: Accurately enter and maintain customer orders, ensuring timely and reliable fulfillment
- Issue Resolution: Coordinate customer service requests related to pricing, expediting, billing, credits, and claims
- Quotations: Interpret drawings and electrical specifications to prepare accurate and competitive project quotations
- Cost Optimization: Determine cost-effective product solutions that meet project requirements and specifications
- Project Coordination: Track and manage quotation activity, ensuring proper documentation and smooth hand-off upon award
- Supplier Coordination: Work with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing, product information, and lead times
- Sales Support: Collaborate with Account Managers, Purchasing, and Field Sales to provide product, pricing, and project support
- Inventory & Delivery Awareness: Monitor product availability and delivery schedules to proactively address potential issues
- Data & System Management: Maintain accurate records within internal systems, including customer, order, and quotation data
Skills and Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of experience in inside sales, quotations, or a related role within the electrical or technical industry
- Strong knowledge of electrical products, power and controls, and lighting
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications is an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service focus
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in quotation and order entry processes
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to take initiative in a dynamic environment
- Strong computer skills, with the ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple systems

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
