We're looking for an experienced Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician to join our Grande Prairie team. If you enjoy diagnosing problems, solving complex mechanical issues, and working on a wide variety of heavy construction equipment, we'd like to hear from you.

Equipment You'll Work On
You'll diagnose, repair, service, and maintain a variety of heavy construction and earthmoving equipment including:
- Excavators
- Dozers
- Road Graders
- Articulated Haul Trucks
- Pipe Layers
- Heavy Trucks
- Other construction and off-road equipment
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and equipment servicing
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and identify root causes
- Complete repairs in both shop and field environments
- Respond to occasional service calls and emergency breakdowns
- Test and verify repairs to ensure equipment reliability
- Complete work orders and service documentation accurately
- Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment
- Support apprentices and share technical knowledge
- Follow all company safety procedures and standards
Field Service Opportunities
This position may occasionally require travel to customer and project locations to perform:
- Equipment inspections
- Diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Repairs and maintenance
- Customer support and technical assistance
Overnight travel may occasionally be required depending on customer and operational needs.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
- Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician (Off-Road)
- Minimum 7 years of heavy equipment repair experience
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Strong hydraulic and electrical diagnostic abilities
- Experience reading and interpreting schematics
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Computer proficiency for digital work orders and service reporting
- Willingness to work overtime when required
